    From the center of Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station located on Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. Take the bus heading towards Mojstrana. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mojstrana bus stop, Triglav is accessible via a short hike. Follow the signs to the trailhead, which is located just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Train and Hike

    Make your way to the Nova Gorica train station on Ulica 1. Maja. Take a train to Jesenice station, which takes about 30 minutes. From Jesenice, you will need to switch to a local bus that goes to Mojstrana. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you reach Mojstrana, follow the signs to the trailhead for Triglav, which is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Walking and Hiking

    If you are feeling adventurous and have enough time, you can walk to Mojstrana from Nova Gorica. The distance is about 20 kilometers, and it will take approximately 4 to 5 hours.
