Discovering the Charm of City Beach Koper

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Piran, head towards the main square, Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg). From the square, take the main street called Ulica 1. maja heading east. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Ulica J. J. Strossmayerja, where you will turn left. Continue straight until you reach the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Piran). From the bus station, you can take a local bus to Koper. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary. Once you arrive at Koper, exit the bus and walk towards the coastline. Follow the pedestrian path along the coast towards Semedelska cesta, which will lead you directly to City Beach Koper.

• Bus

  Start at Tartini Square in Piran. Walk to the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Piran), which is about a 10-minute walk from the square. At the bus station, purchase a ticket for Koper. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Koper bus station. Once you arrive, exit the bus and head towards the coast. Walk straight to the seaside promenade, then follow the path to Semedelska cesta, which will lead you to City Beach Koper.

• Taxi (if needed)

  If you prefer not to walk to the bus station, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Piran. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Piran) or directly to City Beach Koper. This option will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Koper, you can either walk to City Beach Koper or ask the driver to take you directly there.
