Walking
From the center of Portorož, head towards the coast. Walk along the promenade towards Piran. Once you reach the marina, take the path towards the main road (A1) and continue walking. Follow the signs for Piran/Novigrad. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the bus stop at the border of Portorož and Novigrad. From there, catch a bus heading to Novigrad. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Novigrad, walk to Veliki trg, where the Muzej Lapidarium is located at Veliki trg 8A.

Public Transport
From Portorož, walk to the nearest bus stop (located near the Grand Hotel Portorož). Take the bus heading to Piran and get off at the main bus station in Piran. From there, transfer to a bus heading to Novigrad. Once you arrive at Novigrad, it is a short walk to Veliki trg 8A, where the Muzej Lapidarium is located. The total travel time may take around 1 hour depending on the bus schedules.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Portorož. Start by heading towards Piran along the coastal bike path. Once you reach the outskirts of Piran, take the main road towards Novigrad. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes, and upon arriving in Novigrad, park your bike and walk to Veliki trg 8A, where the Muzej Lapidarium is situated.
