Public Bus
From Portorož, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Obala 43. Take the bus heading towards Sečovlje, which runs approximately every hour. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Sečovlje' bus stop. From there, follow the signs towards Sečovlje Saltpans Natural Park, which is about a 15-minute walk away. Follow the road towards the saltpans until you see the entrance.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Portorož and head south along the coast on the promenade (Obala). Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, take the path that leads towards Sečovlje. The total walking distance is about 5 kilometers and will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Enjoy the views of the Adriatic Sea along the way!

Bicycle Rental
Consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Portorož. From the rental location, cycle along the coastal path heading towards Sečovlje. The route is scenic and mostly flat, making it perfect for a leisurely ride. The distance is about 5 kilometers, and it should take around 20-30 minutes to reach the Sečovlje Saltpans Natural Park. Once you arrive, there are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
