Walking
From the center of Postojna, head towards the Postojna Cave entrance. When you reach the main entrance, continue straight down the main road towards the bus station. At the bus station, follow the signs to the Ljubljana bus stop. Once you're at the bus stop, board a bus heading to Ljubljana. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving in Ljubljana, disembark at the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). From there, walk towards the center of the city. Head east on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, and then turn right onto Šubicova ulica. Continue straight until you reach the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river using the nearest bridge, and follow the riverbank until you reach Adamič-Lundrovo nabrežje. The Central Market will be on your left at Adamič-Lundrovo nabrežje 6.

At the Postojna bus station, take a bus to Ljubljana. Look for buses that are heading to 'Ljubljana Avtobusna postaja' (Ljubljana Bus Station). The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the main square. Walk east on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, and then turn right onto Šubicova ulica.
