Walking
From the center of Postojna, head southeast on Trg Zdravja towards the main road, H4. Continue straight until you reach the crossroads at the intersection with H4. Here, you will see a sign for Veliki Otok. Turn right onto H4 and walk along the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few residential areas and some green spaces. Keep an eye out for directional signs pointing towards Magdalenska Jama. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating Veliki Otok. Follow this sign, which will guide you onto a smaller road. Continue along this road for another 600 meters until you reach the entrance of Magdalenska Jama.

From the Postojna Bus Station, take the local bus that services the route to Veliki Otok. Buses may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Magdalenska Jama. The bus will take you close to the cave entrance.
