From the center of Postojna, head southeast towards Tržaška cesta. Walk along Tržaška cesta until you reach the intersection with Ljubljanska cesta. Turn right onto Ljubljanska cesta and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, keep an eye out for a sign indicating Veliki Otok. Turn left at the sign and follow the path that leads towards Otoška jama. The cave entrance is about a 15-minute walk from this point.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Postojna. Start at the town center and cycle towards Tržaška cesta. Turn right onto Ljubljanska cesta and continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for the Veliki Otok sign, then turn left onto the path leading to Otoška jama. The bike ride will take around 10-15 minutes.
