If you are in the center of Postojna, start your journey by heading to the Postojna bus station located at Trg Zbora Osvoboditve. From there, walk south along the main road (H4) for about 10 minutes until you reach the main intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto the road leading towards Ljubljana. Continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the local bus station in Postojna. From there, you can take a bus to Ljubljana.

Once you arrive in Ljubljana, disembark at the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). From here, you can either walk or take a local bus to the Railway Museum. If walking, exit the bus station, turn left onto Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, and continue straight until you reach Parmova ul. The museum will be on your right.
