Getting There

    If you are in the center of Ptuj, head towards the main square, which is known as Trg Republike. From there, walk south towards the river Drava. Once you reach the river, turn right and follow the riverbank. Walk along the Drava until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself in Varaždin. Continue straight on Šetalište Josipa Jurja Strossmayera, and you will see the Old Town of Varaždin on your left.

    From Ptuj, you can take a bus to Varaždin. Head to the Ptuj bus station, which is located near the city center. Check the bus schedule for buses heading to Varaždin. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Varaždin bus station, exit and walk towards the city center. Head southwest on Trg kralja Tomislava, then turn left onto Šetalište Josipa Jurja Strossmayera, where you will find the Old Town.
