Getting There

Bus

From the center of Sežana, walk to the Sežana Bus Station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head north on the main street (Trg svobode) towards the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Javorova ulica. The bus station will be on your right. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to Duino Aurisina. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Duino' and from there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Duino Castle. Head southeast on Via Duino until you reach the castle entrance.
Train and Walk

From Sežana, walk to the Sežana Train Station, which is around a 15-minute walk northeast. Follow the signs to the train station. Once at the station, board a train heading to Trieste. Get off at the Duino-Aurisina station, which is approximately a 20-minute train ride. From the Duino-Aurisina station, exit and walk southwest on Via Duino for about 20 minutes until you reach Duino Castle.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sežana. After renting, head southeast on the main road (Trg svobode) towards the direction of Duino. It’s approximately a 10 km ride, which should take about 30-40 minutes. Follow the signs towards Duino and enjoy the scenic route along the coast. Once you reach Duino, follow the signs to Duino Castle.
