    From Sežana, walk to the Sežana Bus Station located at Cesta 1. Maja 12. Take the bus heading towards Divača. Buses run regularly, so check the local schedule for specific times. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the Divača bus stop.

    After getting off at the Divača bus stop, head towards the main road, which is the H4 highway. You will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers towards Matavun. Follow the signs directing you to Skocjan Caves. You will pass through a scenic landscape, and the path is relatively straightforward.

  • Combination of Bus and Walking

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from Sežana directly to Matavun if available. Check the bus schedules at the Sežana Bus Station for routes going directly to Matavun. If there is no direct service, you will need to take the bus to Divača and then walk as described above.
