    From Škocjan Caves, head northwest on the main road (H4) towards the town of Divača. Continue on H4 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A1 motorway. Merge onto A1 towards Trieste and follow the signs for Trieste. After about 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Trieste Centro. Continue straight onto Via dell'Industria and then turn left onto Via del Lazzaretto. Follow this road until you reach Piazza Unità d'Italia, where Triestemetro is located. Parking is available in the surrounding areas but may incur additional costs, so be prepared to pay for parking.
