Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Sežana, walk to the main bus station located at the intersection of Cankarjeva ulica and Kraška cesta. Board the bus heading to Trieste, which usually has a schedule available at the bus stop. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit and head towards the city center.

• Train

  Head to the Sežana train station, which is a short walk from the center of town. You can ask locals for directions if needed. Take a train to Trieste; the journey will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Trieste train station, exit and follow the signs towards the city center. You can then walk to Via del Teatro, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.

• Walking

  If you're already in the city center of Sežana, you can simply walk to the border of Italy, which is approximately 1.5 km away. From Sežana, head towards the main road (H4) and follow it until you reach the border. Once you cross into Italy, continue on the main road and follow signs for Trieste. As you approach Trieste, you can use a map app on your phone to navigate to Via del Teatro, 1 in the Città Vecchia area.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can also opt to take a taxi or use a rideshare service from Sežana to Trieste. Simply request a ride to 'Via del Teatro, 1, Trieste' and the driver will take you directly to the location. Make sure to confirm the driver's identity and the vehicle details before getting in.
