If you are starting from the Velenje City Center, head southeast on Prešernova ulica toward the main square. Continue straight until you reach Koroška cesta. Turn left onto Koroška cesta, and walk for about 800 meters. The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia will be on your right at Koroška cesta 56.

If you are near the Velenje bus station, take bus number 1 or 2 heading toward the Koroška cesta stop. The journey will take around 10 minutes. Once you get off at the Koroška cesta stop, walk about 300 meters back towards the direction of the bus. The museum will be on your left at Koroška cesta 56.
