Getting There

Walking

From the center of Velenje, head south on Titov trg towards Cesta maršala Tita. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Ljubljanska cesta. Turn right onto Ljubljanska cesta. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see Velenje Castle on your left, situated on a hill. There are signs indicating the castle, and you can follow these signs to reach the entrance.
Public Transport (Bus)

If you prefer to take public transportation, find the nearest bus stop in the city center. Look for a bus that is heading towards 'Velenje Castle' or 'Ljubljanska cesta'. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to the castle, follow the directional signs which will lead you to the entrance of Velenje Castle, which is located at Ljubljanska cesta 54.
Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from the city center. Start on Cesta maršala Tita and head south. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Ljubljanska cesta. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Velenje Castle will be on your left. There are bike racks available near the entrance for you to securely park your bicycle.
