The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia will be on your left at Koroška cesta 56. Look for the museum entrance on the left side of the road.

To reach the Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia via public transport, take a bus from the Velenje bus station. Look for bus lines that head towards Koroška cesta or Velenje center. The closest bus stop is 'Koroška cesta', which is a short walk from the museum. Once you arrive at the stop, walk back along Koroška cesta for about 200 meters, and you will see the museum on your right at Koroška cesta 56.

If you are already in Velenje and prefer to walk, start at the Velenje City Park. Head northeast on Cesta svobode toward Koroška cesta. Turn right onto Koroška cesta and continue for about 1 km.
