If you are starting from the center of Velenje, walk towards the main square (Trg osvoboditve). From the square, head east on Cesta svobode. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Koroška cesta. Turn left onto Koroška cesta and walk for approximately 800 meters. The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia will be on your right at Koroška cesta 56.
