Walking

If you are starting from the center of Velenje, head south towards the main road, Ljubljanska cesta. Continue walking straight along Ljubljanska cesta for about 1 kilometer. You will pass a few shops and cafes on your left and right. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Velenje Castle. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance of Velenje Castle on your left. The castle is located at Ljubljanska cesta 54.
Public Transport

From the Velenje bus station, take bus number 1 towards 'Velenje - Stari trg'. Stay on the bus for about 5 minutes and get off at the 'Krožišče' stop. From there, continue on foot along Ljubljanska cesta for approximately 10 minutes. You will see Velenje Castle on your left at Ljubljanska cesta 54.
