Getting There

Walking
From Lata town center, head southwest towards the main road (Mataniko Road). Continue walking along Mataniko Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and follow the signs towards Tasi. After about 2 kilometers, you will cross a small creek. Keep an eye out for local trail markers. Continue on the path for another 1 kilometer, where you will find a small footpath on your right that leads towards Valelata. Follow this footpath for about 500 meters until you reach Valelata.

Start from the Lata market area and rent a bicycle if you don't have one. Head south on Mataniko Road for about 1.5 kilometers. At the fork in the road, take the left path towards Tasi. Cycle for about 2 kilometers, and you will pass a small creek. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer, looking for a footpath on your right that leads to Valelata. Turn onto this footpath and ride for 500 meters until you reach your destination.
