If you are driving from Auki, the capital of Malaita Province, head north on the main road towards the Central Kwara'ae area. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Nunu Aitolo, as the ecolodge is located in the Highlands region. Once you reach Nunu Aitolo, follow the local roads leading to Nunu Ecolodge, which is set in a scenic area. Parking is available at the lodge.

From Auki, you can take a public bus heading towards the north of the island. Ensure that the bus is en route to Central Kwara'ae. The bus journey can take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on road conditions. Ask the driver to drop you off at Nunu Aitolo. Once you get off, you may need to walk a short distance to reach Nunu Ecolodge. It’s advisable to confirm the exact drop-off point with the driver.
