If you are traveling by car, start from Auki, the capital of Malaita Province. Head east on the main road towards the village of Ruaniu. Continue driving until you reach the GPS coordinates JRWV+Q8 (approximately latitude -9.3530625, longitude 159.8433125). The last part of the road may be unpaved, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Parking should be available near the beach.
Public Transportation
To reach Tana Beach using public transportation, take a bus or a shared taxi from Auki to Ruaniu. Buses typically depart from the main bus station in Auki. Once you arrive in Ruaniu, you may need to walk a short distance to the beach. Make sure to confirm with the driver the drop-off point closest to Tana Beach. Walking
