Car
From Auki, the capital of Malaita, head east on the main road towards the town of Weihii. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you towards Si'oru Harbour. As you approach Weihii, continue until you reach the coordinates 8GW2+Q9 (approximately 9.6531° S, 161.5009° E). Turn off the main road as indicated by local signage. There is no parking fee at the harbour, but ensure you park in designated areas.
Public Transportation
Catch a bus or shared taxi from Auki to Weihii. Buses typically leave from the main bus terminal in Auki and the fare is usually around SBD 20-30. The journey may take about 2 hours. Inform the driver that you are heading to Si'oru Harbour, and he will drop you off at the closest point. From there, you might need to walk a short distance to reach the harbour itself. The roads can be rugged, so be prepared for a bit of a trek.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk from Weihii town to Si'oru Harbour. The walk will take about 30 minutes. Follow the main road out of town toward the coast, and look for signs directing you to the harbour. Ensure you have proper footwear, as the path may be uneven in places.
