    Getting There

    Car

    If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Auki, the provincial capital of Malaita. Head northwest on the main road (the Honiara-Auki road) for approximately 40 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Central Kwara'ae. After passing the village of Kwalala, continue for another 5 kilometers until you reach Nunu Aitolo. The Nunu Ecolodge will be located on your left-hand side. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations are limited along this route.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Nunu Ecolodge via public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from the Auki bus station heading towards Central Kwara'ae. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Nunu Aitolo. The fare is usually around 10-15 SBD (Solomon Islands dollars). The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Nunu Aitolo, you may need to walk about 300 meters to reach the ecolodge, which should be visible from the main road.
