The drive from Shimbiris to the mountain takes about 1 hour. Be aware of potential road conditions and always check for local advice on travel safety.

To reach Daallo Mountain by public transportation, first, you will need to find a local bus or shared taxi heading to Hargeisa from Shimbiris. Once you reach Hargeisa (approximately a 1-hour journey), you can catch a local bus or taxi that goes to the Daallo Mountain area. The cost for the bus ride from Shimbiris to Hargeisa is around 5,000 SOS (Somali Shillings), and the fare to Daallo Mountain from Hargeisa is approximately 10,000 SOS.
