To reach Cape Vidal from the Battlefields area by car, start by heading south on the N3 highway. Follow the N3 towards Durban. After approximately 90 kilometers, take the exit toward the N2 highway northbound. Continue on the N2 for about 80 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the R618 towards St Lucia. Follow the R618 until you arrive at the town of St Lucia. From St Lucia, follow the signs to the Isimangaliso Wetland Park entrance. There is an entrance fee of approximately R50 per person. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Cape Vidal, which is about a 20-kilometer drive through the park.
