Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Battlefields. Head southeast on R103 towards the town of Escourt. Continue on the R103 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N3 highway. Merge onto the N3 and drive for about 15 kilometers. Take the exit toward R623 and continue on R623 for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Isinuka Mud Caves and Sulphur Pools. Follow these signs, and after a short drive on a gravel road, you will arrive at the entrance to the caves and pools. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the site.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal in Battlefields to Escourt. Once you arrive in Escourt, you will need to hire a local taxi or shuttle service, as public transport does not directly reach Isinuka Mud Caves and Sulphur Pools. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and cost approximately R150-R200, depending on the negotiation. Make sure to arrange for the taxi to pick you up after your visit, as there might be limited options for returning to Escourt.

For the adventurous, if you are already nearby and prefer to walk, you can hike from the nearest town of Escourt to the Isinuka Mud Caves and Sulphur Pools. This scenic route is approximately 10 kilometers and will take about 2 hours on foot. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and enough water for the trip, as the terrain can be uneven.
