If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Mthatha. Head south on the N2 highway towards Port Edward. After approximately 42 kilometers, take the exit at the sign for 'Hluleka Beach' (R61). Follow the R61 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction where you will turn left onto a gravel road leading directly to Hluleka Beach. The beach will be well signposted. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads, especially during rainy season.

For those using public transportation, catch a bus from Mthatha to Port Edward, which runs regularly. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Hluleka Beach. From there, you may need to arrange a taxi or a local shuttle service to take you the remaining distance on the gravel road to the beach. The taxi fare might cost you around R100 to R150, depending on the provider and negotiation.
