Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, make your way to Port St Johns. From the N2 highway, take the exit toward the R61 towards Port St Johns. Once you enter the town, follow the main road (R61) until you reach Berea Road. Turn onto Berea Road, and after a short drive, you will find Jungle Monkey Backpackers at 3 Berea Rd, Port St Johns, 5120. Look for the sign indicating the backpackers.

• Public Transport - Minibus Taxi

  To use public transportation, you can catch a minibus taxi heading towards Port St Johns from nearby towns like Mthatha or Coffee Bay. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Port St Johns. The fare typically costs around R50-70. Once you arrive at the Port St Johns taxi rank, you can either walk or take a local taxi. For walking, exit the taxi rank and head west on the R61 until you reach Berea Road. Turn left onto Berea Road, and Jungle Monkey Backpackers will be a short walk away at 3 Berea Rd.
