If you are driving from the center of Battlefields, head southeast on the N3 highway. Continue until you reach the turnoff for the R103 towards Harrismith. Follow the R103 until you reach the intersection with the R74. Turn left onto the R74 and proceed for about 30 kilometers. You will then turn right onto the R3 Hartbeeshoek Road. Continue on Hartbeeshoek Road for about 10 kilometers, and you will find the Upside Down House on your left. There is parking available on-site.

To reach Upside Down House using public transport, first take a bus from Battlefields to Hartbeespoort. Buses run frequently and the journey typically takes about 1 hour. The fare is around R50. Once you arrive at the Hartbeespoort bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the Upside Down House. It's about a 15-minute drive from the bus station, so expect to pay around R100-R150 for the taxi ride. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
