Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the center of Battlefields, head northeast on the R33 towards the R103. Continue on the R103 until you reach the N3 highway. Take the N3 towards Pretoria. Once in Pretoria, take the Eeufees Road exit (exit 137). Follow Eeufees Road for about 1.5 km, and you will find Fort Schanskop on your left. There is usually no entrance fee, but parking may cost around R10.

From Battlefields, take a taxi or bus to Pretoria Central. Once in Pretoria Central, look for the Gautrain station. Take the Gautrain to Hatfield station. From Hatfield station, you can either take a local taxi or a rideshare service to Fort Schanskop, which is approximately a 10-minute drive away. Expect to pay approximately R10-R15 for the taxi or rideshare. The Gautrain fare from Pretoria Central to Hatfield is around R15-R25.
