If you are starting from the Pretoria Botanical Gardens, exit the gardens and head southwest towards the intersection with Eeufees Road. Turn left onto Eeufees Road and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few residential areas, and after some time, you will see signage for the Schanshop Fort on your right. The Replica Tanganyika Monument is located just west of the Schanshop Fort. Walk towards the fort, and you will find the monument in close proximity.

Bus
Take the Gautrain bus service from Pretoria's central bus station or any nearby bus stop. Board a bus that heads towards Groenkloof. Once on board, ask the driver to inform you when you reach the stop closest to Eeufees Road. Disembark and head northwest along Eeufees Road for about 500 meters. You will see the Schanshop Fort on your right; the Replica Tanganyika Monument is just west of it.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Pretoria and head towards the Groenkloof area. Use the designated bicycle lanes where available. Follow the route via Schoeman Street and then turn into Eeufees Road. Continue cycling straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the Schanshop Fort.
