Walking
If you're in the central area of Cape Town, start at the Green Market Square. Head south on Church Street until you reach Long Street, then turn left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Buitengracht Street. Take a right and walk along Buitengracht until you reach the intersection with Kloof Nek Road. From there, catch a MyCiTi bus heading towards Hout Bay and get off at the Bakoven stop. Walk down Bakoven Road until you reach Kreef Lane, where you will find Bakoven Beach.

Public Transport
From the central station, take the MyCiTi bus route 104 towards Camps Bay. This bus will take you along the coast, providing beautiful views. Get off at the Bakoven stop. Once you disembark, walk down Bakoven Road, and shortly you'll arrive at Kreef Lane. Bakoven Beach is located at the end of this lane.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in the city center. Start at the V&A Waterfront and head up towards the Sea Point Promenade. Continue cycling along the promenade until you reach the end of the Sea Point area. From there, follow the coastal road towards Camps Bay. When you reach Bakoven Road, turn left and follow it until you reach Kreef Lane, where Bakoven Beach is located.

Taxi
If you choose to take a taxi, simply tell the driver to take you to Bakoven Beach at 12 Kreef Lane. Depending on traffic, this should take around 20-30 minutes from the city center. Make sure to have cash on hand, as not all taxis accept card payments.
