From Civic Centre, board the MyCiTi bus heading towards 'Table View'. Make sure you have a MyCiTi bus card, which you can purchase and load with cash at the station. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Big Bay' stop. This journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you disembark at the Big Bay stop, you will see signs directing you to the beach, which is a short walk away.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in the city. Head towards the V&A Waterfront and take the scenic route along the coastline. Follow the cycle path along the coast and continue north towards Table View. The cycle path is well-marked and takes you directly to Big Bay Beach. The ride is approximately 20 km and should take about 1-1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the stunning views of the beach and Table Mountain in the distance.

For the adventurous, you can walk to Big Bay Beach from Table View. Start at the Table View MyCiTi station. From there, walk north along the beachfront promenade. The walk is approximately 4 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes. You'll enjoy beautiful coastal views along the way.
