Start your journey from Cape Town's central station. Board a train on the Southern Line towards Simon's Town. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Steenberg station. Once you exit the station, head left onto Steenberg Road. Follow Steenberg Road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Pollsmoor Prison on your right.

From the Cape Town city center, head to the Civic Centre bus station. Take the MyCiTi bus Route 1 (towards Hout Bay) and disembark at the Tokai station. From there, walk towards Steenberg Road and turn right. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you see Pollsmoor Prison on your left.

If you are close to Tokai area, you can reach Pollsmoor Prison on foot. Starting from the Tokai Park, head east on Tokai Road until you reach Steenberg Road. Turn left onto Steenberg Road and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see Pollsmoor Prison on your right.
