Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), exit the building and head towards the pedestrian bridge leading to the Artscape Theatre. Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection of Adderley Street. Turn right onto Adderley Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Burg Street. Turn left onto Burg Street, and in a few minutes, you will arrive at Greenmarket Square, located at the corner of Burg Street and Longmarket Street.

    If you are starting from the V&A Waterfront, exit the waterfront area and head toward the main road (Granger Bay Boulevard). Turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach Alfred Road. Turn right onto Alfred Road, which becomes Dock Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Buitengracht Street. Turn left onto Buitengracht Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Long Street. Turn right onto Long Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Burg Street. Turn left onto Burg Street, and Greenmarket Square will be on your right at the intersection of Burg Street and Longmarket Street.
