Getting There

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Start your journey at the Cape Town Central Bus Station. Look for the MyCiTi bus route that goes to the Camps Bay area. You can take the 'MyCiTi 104' to the 'Camps Bay' stop. Once you arrive at Camps Bay, you will need to walk towards the base of Lion's Head. From the bus stop, walk up Victoria Road towards the intersection with Signal Hill Road. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Lion's Head hiking trail on Signal Hill Road.

    If you are staying in the city center, you can walk to Lion's Head. Start at the Company's Garden and head towards the eastern side of the park. Continue walking down Wale Street until you reach Buitengracht Street. Turn left onto Buitengracht and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kloof Nek Road. Take a right onto Kloof Nek Road and follow the road until you see the entrance to Lion's Head on your left. This walk will take around 45 minutes to an hour.
