From Cape Town Station, take the MetroRail train to Stellenbosch. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Stellenbosch Station, exit the station and turn left onto Bird Street. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Van Riebeeck Street. Turn right onto Van Riebeeck Street, and you will find the entrance to the Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden on your left, at the corner of Neethling Street and Van Riebeeck Street.
