    From Cape Town city center, head to the Cape Town bus terminal located at 1 Adderley Street. Take the Golden Arrow Bus service towards Stellenbosch. Ensure to check the schedule as buses may vary by time of day. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Disembark at the Stellenbosch bus station, which is the main terminal in town. From there, walk north on Bird Street towards the traffic circle at the intersection with Neethling Street. Continue onto Neethling Street for about 5 minutes; the Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden will be on your left at Neethling St & Van Riebeeck St.

  • Train

    At the Cape Town train station, purchase a ticket for the train heading to Stellenbosch (make sure to check the train schedule for the best times). The train ride takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Stellenbosch station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. Follow the main road, Adam Tas Road, until it intersects with Bird Street.
