If you are in the central part of City Bowl, you can easily reach the Iziko Old Town House Museum on foot. Start at the Company's Garden, which is located on the corner of Orange Street and Queen Victoria Road. Head south along Queen Victoria Road towards St. George's Cathedral. Once you reach the cathedral, continue walking straight until you reach Wale Street. Turn left onto Wale Street and continue until you reach Longmarket Street. Turn right onto Longmarket Street, and you will find the museum at 149 Longmarket St on your left. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point.

You can take the MyCiTi bus for a quick and efficient journey. Locate the nearest MyCiTi bus stop in City Bowl, such as the Gardens stop. Board a bus heading to the Civic Centre or the city center. Disembark at the Civic Centre stop. From there, walk towards Longmarket Street. Head east on Hertzog Boulevard, which will become Longmarket Street after crossing the intersection. The museum will be located at 149 Longmarket St. The bus fare is approximately R11.00.
