    If you are driving from Stellenbosch, head southwest on Bird Street toward Dorp Street. Continue straight onto the R310. Follow the R310 for about 7 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R44. Take a left onto the R44 and continue for approximately 4 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Jonkershoek Road. Turn right onto Jonkershoek Road, and the Assegaaibosch Nature Reserve entrance will be on your left. Note that parking is available at the reserve.
