Follow the R617 for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Himeville. From Himeville, continue on the R617 for another 20 km where you will turn onto the R600 towards Cathkin Park. Drive for about 10 km and look for signs directing you to Dragonview Lodge on your left. The lodge is located on an unnamed road in Cathkin Park, which is a scenic area with beautiful mountain views.

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Durban or Johannesburg to the town of Howick. From Howick, you will need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle service to take you to Dragonview Lodge. This may involve a cost of approximately R500 to R700 for the taxi ride, depending on the provider and the number of passengers. Ensure to book the taxi in advance and confirm the pickup location. The taxi will take you through the scenic routes of the Drakensberg, making the journey enjoyable.
