If you are using public transport, take a bus from Port Elizabeth or George to Uniondale. The buses leave regularly and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on your departure point. Once in Uniondale, you will need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle service that can take you the remaining 25 km to the Baviaanskloof Eastern Entrance, as public transport does not directly access the wilderness area.
