If you're driving, head towards Pretoria. From Highveld, take the N1 highway northbound. Continue on the N1 and take the exit toward M1/R21. Merge onto the M1 and follow the signs for Pretoria. Take the exit for the N4 toward Rustenburg. Continue on the N4 for about 10 km, then take the exit for the N1/R21 towards Johannesburg. Keep right at the fork to stay on N1. Take exit 143 for the R21 toward Pretoria/Centurion. Follow the R21 southbound. Take the exit toward Eeufees Road/Groenkloof. Continue on Eeufees Road, and you will see the Voortrekker Monument on your right. There is parking available on-site.

Upon reaching Pretoria, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the Voortrekker Monument. If you prefer a combination of driving and walking, you can drive to a nearby location such as the Groenkloof Nature Reserve. From there, it's a short walk to the Voortrekker Monument. Drive to Groenkloof Nature Reserve and park your car. The reserve has dedicated parking areas. After parking, exit the reserve and head towards Eeufees Road, where the monument is located. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the reserve to the monument.
