Car
If you are driving from within Kruger National Park, head towards the Orpen Gate. Exit the park through the Orpen Gate and follow the R531 road towards Hoedspruit. Continue on the R531 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the T-junction with the R40. At the T-junction, turn left onto the R40. After about 10 kilometers, turn right onto the Klaserie Road (a gravel road). Follow this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Note that there may be a conservation fee to enter the reserve, typically around R200 per vehicle.

If you are taking public transportation, you can first reach the town of Hoedspruit by bus or shuttle service from major cities like Johannesburg or Pretoria.
