Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Hoedspruit. Head east on the R40 towards the Kruger National Park entrance. After about 30 kilometers, you will reach the Phalaborwa Gate entrance to Kruger National Park. Enter the park, which requires a conservation fee (approximately R400 per person for international visitors, R200 for South African citizens). Once inside, follow the main road (H1-4) for about 25 kilometers until you reach the Masorini Archaeological Site, which is well-marked along the route.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Hoedspruit to the Phalaborwa Gate. Buses operate regularly and the fare is approximately R50. Upon arrival at the gate, you will need to pay the conservation fee to enter the park. Once inside, you can either join a guided tour (which can be arranged at the gate) or hire a taxi service that operates within the park to take you to the Masorini Archaeological Site, which is about a 25-kilometer drive. It's advisable to arrange the taxi in advance, as they may not always be available.
