From the city center, take the N2 highway towards the south and follow the signs for the M3 towards Muizenberg. Keep left at the fork to stay on the M3 and follow the signs to Table Mountain. Once you reach the Tafelberg Rd exit, turn right onto Tafelberg Rd. There is parking available near the base of the mountain, but be aware that it may incur a cost of around R10 to R20 for parking.

Take the MyCiTi bus service from the city center. Board the bus at the Civic Centre station and take the route to the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway station. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes.
