Walking
From the center of Waterkloof, head towards Solomon Mahlangu Drive (previously known as Hans Strijdom Drive). Walk north until you reach the intersection with the N1 highway. At the traffic lights, cross over to the other side of the road to access the pedestrian pathway. Continue walking along the pedestrian path, following the signs that direct you towards the Groenkloof Nature Reserve, which is adjacent to the Voortrekker Monument.

Public Transport - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a local bus. Head to the nearest bus station in Waterkloof. Look for the bus route number 6 or 7, which goes towards Groenkloof. The fare is approximately R10 to R15. Inform the driver you are heading to the Voortrekker Monument and they will let you know when to get off. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the monument.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop in Waterkloof. Once you have your bicycle, head towards Solomon Mahlangu Drive. Follow the cycle paths that lead towards the Groenkloof Nature Reserve. The Voortrekker Monument is located just outside the reserve. Ensure you lock your bike at the designated bike racks available at the monument.
