Continue on the M41 until it merges into the lighthouse road, which leads directly to uMhlanga. Upon arrival, you'll find parking options available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee ranging from R10 to R20 per hour depending on the area.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a taxi or minibus from Sunshine Coast to the nearest bus terminal in Durban. From there, catch a bus heading to Umhlanga. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus will stop at uMhlanga Rocks. Once you arrive in Umhlanga, the lighthouse is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 1 km. You may also consider taking an Uber directly if you prefer a more comfortable ride, which would typically cost around R100 to R150 from Durban.
