Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Table Mountain National Park, head towards the main exit towards Cape Town. Once you exit the park, continue driving on the M3 highway until you reach the intersection with the N2. Merge onto the N2 towards Cape Town. Continue on the N2 for approximately 8 kilometers. Take the exit towards the M62/De Waal Drive, and follow signs for the city center. Merge onto Buitengracht Street, then turn left onto Strand Street. Continue straight until you reach the Grand Parade, which will be on your right. Parking is available on surrounding streets, but be aware of parking fees that typically range from R5 to R10 per hour.

• Public Transportation (MyCiTi Bus)

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take the MyCiTi bus from various locations within Table Mountain National Park. You will first need to get to the nearest MyCiTi bus station, which is typically at the V&A Waterfront or Camps Bay. From there, board the bus heading towards the Civic Centre. The fare is approximately R10. Disembark at the Civic Centre station, which is close to the Grand Parade. From the station, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Grand Parade. Follow the signs towards the main square.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service

  For a more direct route, consider using a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply request a ride from your location in Table Mountain National Park to Grand Parade, which is located at Cape Town, 8001. The fare will vary based on your pickup location but expect to pay between R100 to R150 for a ride. The driver will take you directly to the Grand Parade, and you can enjoy the convenience without the hassle of parking.
