If you are traveling by car, start from George on the N2 highway. Head east on the N2 towards Knysna. After approximately 25 km, take the exit for Sedgefield. Turn left onto the R102 and follow the signs towards Sedgefield. Once in Sedgefield, continue straight until you reach the intersection with the R339. Turn right and follow the road until you see signs for Gericke's Point. There is a parking area available near the entrance to the hiking trails.

If you are using public transportation, catch a bus from George to Sedgefield. Several local bus companies operate this route. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Sedgefield, you can either walk (approximately 2 km) or take a taxi to reach Gericke's Point. Walking directions: Head east on the R102, then turn right onto the R339 and follow the signs. Be prepared for a bit of uphill walking.

If you are already in Sedgefield and prefer walking, you can take a scenic route to Gericke's Point. Start from the town center, head toward the R102 (Main Street), and follow it until you reach the R339. Turn right onto the R339 and continue until you see signs for Gericke's Point.
