Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from a central location in Wild Coast, like Coffee Bay or Port St. Johns. Head west on the R61 towards Mthatha. Once you reach Mthatha, take the N2 towards East London. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit for the R56 towards Aliwal North. This road will lead you through beautiful countryside and eventually connect to the R27. Follow the R27 all the way to Cederberg Wilderness Area. The total drive is around 7-8 hours, so plan for breaks along the way. Be aware of toll fees on some of the routes, which can vary from R20 to R50.
